The Hochahut: A Flavorful Journey through Corn Dogs and Tacos

Great little spot. We ordered a hot mamma corndog, big daddy corndog, nachos, and chili cheese nachos. The food was so good. My favorite was the hot mamma corndog, which has cheese and jalapeño in the dog. I didn't think it was spicy but flavorful. The nachos are made with Rico cheese, my favorite. The chili tasted really good, too. They have a little sitting area outside, too. Props to the 2 guys working the stand. It was late afternoon, and they were busy all day. The food came out quickly. I wish we had stopped by sooner. We would have probably gone back a couple of times.

When a place really only makes one thing, and makes it to order - can’t go wrong. Fun little atmosphere with some tables to set on. High quality corn dogs and friendly staff. No restroom but there’s a port o potty on site if nature calls. No place to wash hands but there’s a few designated spots where they have hand sanitizer set up. Since outdoors you’ll have to contend with a few flies and bees but otherwise great experience to come by and get a solid snack.

Absolutely amazing Corn Dog and ranked in the top 10 in the US! Must try if you like a good ol’ corn dog!!!

Best corn dogs outside of the fair!! Friendly staff. Didn’t have to wait long. Loved the music while we ate outside!! Highly recommend!!

10/10! Its basically concessions stand food, but fresh! I had the chili cheese nachos and husband had the corn dog and cheese on a stick. While I loved my nachos, husband said the corn dog was just ok and the cheese stick was not good at all. He described the cheese stick as a corn dog loaded with nachos cheese versus a mozzarella stick. Services was great! Although small, we didn't wait in line long at all. The place was small, but was comfortable. I'd come back!

Hot Mama! You haven't tasted anything until you've tried their incredible corn dogs and decadent fried Oreos — truly the best in the world! Bryan and the chef are just fantastic and make every visit special. Don't miss out on this amazing experience!

Cool little place off the main road in town, right by Beavers Bend state park. There are hammocks and outdoor seating, music, and space for kids to run around if needed. The corn dogs are next level and they have a good selection of drinks.

Best corn dog, ever! This place is a real gem: the dogs are delicious, the vibe is laidback and the people are great! If the regular dog isn’t perfect, you would have to find a better one to prove it to me. The show stealer was the hot mama, however: a jalapeño cheddar dog dipped and fried to perfection. There are many places to choose from in Hochatown, but you will do yourself a tremendous disservice by not stopping by and saying hi to these guys and having a corn dog.
